Wow...I never heard of that connection before. It's unfathomable that this frightening knowledge is not widely publicized. As my daughter heads to NYC for college in the fall, I'll be sure she's armed with this info...heaven forbid she need to rely upon it.
Rev. 22:14-15 Blessed are they who wash their robes so as to have the right to the tree of life and enter the city through its gates. Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the unchaste, the murderers, the idol-worshipers, and all who love and practice deceit.
Somehow my comments for this disappeared or never made it in: I have seen the sorcerer's thing, Len, and it's a big Protestant thing. I think it's also why some strains or denominations are so against medications that are unnecessary. (Actually I wonder why we all aren't?)
I teach the Scriptures because the Word of God is whom I love and need, and I am compelled to offer Jesus to every soul who looks for Him there. Also contributing author for Catholic Online, I write and teach regular studies, home school two children, and live in Tennessee. I and my husband of 16 years adore one another (most days) and our two sons.
Besides devotion to the Sacred Writings and their Author, I delight in a pot of apricot tea, my rocking chair and quilt on the porch of my farmhouse, the English countryside, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and Michael Crighton novels, and long hikes through the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Thanks for the eye-opener.

That's a fascinating connection - serious food for thought there. Thanks for the link, Len.
